Wonderfish Collective

Fresh from a sell-out Devonport show, The Wonderfish Collective come city-side for one night only at Galatos this August.

If you like the idea of a 13 piece band including a three-piece horn section, 5 vocalists – then this gig is for you.

This year’s show has a strong soul / funk vibe and includes tracks written especially for the show, the reinvention of songs by other artists, a few old soul/funk favourites. The set builds through the show and will make that Galatos sprung dance floor irresistible!

The band line up is oozing with talent including keyboard wizard Paddy Cornfield – fresh from his amazing performance of Beethoven’s Emperor Piano Concerto with the Devonport Chamber Orchestra in April – and featuring in the horn section on saxophone, the talented multi-instrumentalist Ollie O’Loughlin who drums for Molly & the Chromatics.

Profits from the show will be donated to Crescendo, a charity focussed on empowering rangatahi to make positive changes in their lives through their successful music, film, radio and photography mentoring programmes.

The ‘Collective’ cast for this year …..
