Formed as school friends, PARK RD have received great support from local playlists and accumulated over 2.5 million+ streams on previous songs.

Rolling Stone Australia picked PARK RD as ones to watch Kiwi artists!

The band are currently recording their debut album with producer Josh Edmonds (Niko Walters, Paige, LA Women, Foley) having come off a year of showcasing their electric live show at multiple festivals and headline shows including the main stage at SoundSplash, Spacey Jane and Sticky Fingers supports, plus a National tour with Muroki with Arjuna Oakes.

“All the songs on the EP are written about real experiences which is something that we felt was really important for this project. From the adrenaline filled beginnings of a new relationship through to a not so happy ending, this EP follows the journey of a first love.

Sonically the EP has gone in a new direction from our previous work, with more of a produced sound while keeping the band feel.”

Full line-up is Tom Chamberlain -vocals, Angus Hampton-Carr – lead guitar, Leo Crawshaw-Bond – guitar, Carlos Martin – bass, and Te Kapua Pene – drums.

Special Guests: Haven from Wellington

Seeing Haven live is like a reunion with your oldest best friend. They know the best ways to make you laugh, cry, and above all else, have a good time. The Queenstown formed, and now Wellington-based indie rock band have taken their recognisable blend of indie sounds across Aotearoa, with songs that touch on connection, masculinity, sexuality, and ever-turbulent emotions. Through singles released during 2021 and 2022 such as “Pictures Of Her,” and “The Right Way,” Haven has given a taste of what the band has to offer, though more is on the horizon, with the trio’s debut EP scheduled for release in 2023.
