FATHE AND THE SWEETOS

Fathe and the Sweetos are a big band committed to making people move. Fathe Tesfamariam, the lead singer, weaves hook after hook into a bed of deep grooves with stories of family, friends, homes and hearts.

Their music’s core is found within the West African rhythms of Afrobeat and Highlife music, from there they branch out merging influences from all over, from country to punk and hip-hop with some traditional Ethiopian rhythms sprinkled in as well.

Every show is guaranteed to get you moving.
