Double Parked come from the bush and beach of West Auckland and are bringing their frothy surf rock sound back to Galatos! A band who likes to connect with everyone in the audience, their original tunes transcend sub-genres within the indie rock space. The band started out shaking the floors at big Westie house parties and are now focused on getting their music out into the wide world.

With the release of their debut EP Lost in the Groove, the boys will be returning home to the Big Smoke after two maiden-gigs in the South Island. This 5-song EP has a little bit of something for everyone. From frothy tunes about surfing to raw, emotive alty-ballads about the troubles of life, Lost in the Groove has the roses and the thorns. To celebrate this release, the 3-stop tour will travel up New Zealand, stopping in Dunedin, Christchurch and finally Auckland throughout May.
